1. Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the site store: receipt, inspection, storage, issue and stock control of construction materials (cement, steel/TMT, aggregates, bricks/blocks, shuttering materials, electrical and plumbing items, consumables, tools and PPE)
• Verify materials against PO, challan and delivery slip for quantity and quality; coordinate with the Site Engineer/QC on rejections and returns
• Prepare GRNs, material issue slips, and gate passes; maintain bin cards and the stock register
• Keep daily, weekly and monthly stock and consumption records; raise material requisitions and track reorder levels to avoid shortages
• Reconcile stock (especially steel and cement) with site execution and billing, and report wastage, pilferage and variances
• Coordinate with the Purchase/Head Office team on indents, vendor deliveries, rate and bill verification
• Maintain tools and T&P (tools and plants) records, including issue, return, and condition
• Ensure proper storage practices: FIFO, weather protection, stacking, segregation and housekeeping
• Enforce safety norms in the store and during material unloading
• Supervise and guide store support staff, loaders and helpers
• Submit timely MIS reports to the Project Manager/Management

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate or Diploma (Civil preferred); B.Com/BBA with relevant experience also considered
• 5-10 years of experience as a Store Manager/Store In-charge on building construction sites
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications and measurement units
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer skills; familiarity with ERP/inventory software is a plus
• Good record-keeping, honesty and a sense of ownership

2. Store Assistant / Store Keeper (Store Support)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in receiving, unloading, counting and stacking materials
• Issue materials against approved requisitions and record all movements
• Maintain registers, bin cards and daily entries accurately
• Help with physical stock verification and periodic reconciliation
• Keep the store clean, organised and safe
• Track tools and equipment issued to workers and gangs

Qualifications and Experience

• 12th pass or Graduate
• 3-5 years of experience in a construction site store (freshers with a good attitude may apply)
• Basic Excel/data entry skills and record keeping
• Physically fit and willing to work at the site
