Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the store. The role involves achieving sales targets, managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining store standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate store employees.
• Set and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Manage inventory, stock replenishment, stock transfers, and stock audits.
• Monitor product displays, store cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.
• Handle cash management, billing, deposits, and daily sales reports.
• Control operating expenses and minimize stock loss and wastage.
• Prepare and review sales, inventory, and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and legal requirements.
• Coordinate with the warehouse, purchasing, accounts, and head office teams.
• Monitor staff attendance, schedules, productivity, and performance.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve store performance.
• Ensure the store is properly opened and closed according to company procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in retail/store management.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Knowledge of inventory and stock management.
• Basic knowledge of sales reporting and computer applications.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
