Store Incharge

Role & responsibilities

• Manage complete store operations at the railway project site.
• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials as per Purchase Orders and delivery challans.
• Ensure proper storage, stacking, tagging, and preservation of railway materials such as rails, sleepers, ballast, steel, cement, OHE items, S&T materials, electrical items, and consumables.
• Issue materials against approved indents and maintain proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate stock registers, bin cards, ledgers, and ERP/NWAY inventory records.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and reconciliation.
• Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) and traceability of materials.
• Prepare material receipt reports, issue reports, stock statements, and consumption reports.

Preferred candidate profile :

Should have experience from the Railway sector.
