Store In-Charge

Goods Receiving & Inspection - Oversee the receiving process, ensuring materials match purchase orders and specifications. - Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for inspection and approval of incoming goods. - Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with suppliers.

Material Issuance & Dispatch - Manage the timely and accurate issuance of materials to production/maintenance departments based on approved indents/work orders. - Supervise packaging, loading, and dispatch of finished goods or outgoing materials, ensuring proper documentation (delivery challans, gate passes).

Stock Auditing & Reconciliation - Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy. - Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate variances. - Prepare and submit weekly/monthly inventory status reports to management.

Store Layout & Organization - Optimize the store layout for efficient material handling, storage, and retrieval, especially for mechanical components and tools. - Ensure proper segregation, labeling, and storage of materials, including hazardous substances, adhering to safety norms.

Safety & Compliance - Enforce safety procedures and best practices within the store to prevent accidents. - Ensure the store operations comply with company policies, quality standards (e.g., ISO), and regulatory requirements.

Team Management - Supervise and train store assistants and material handlers. - Manage the performance, attendance, and discipline of the store team.

Equipment Handling - Oversee the maintenance and operation of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in the store area.
