Store and Dispatch Officer

Role & responsibilities

Inventory & Stores Management
Material Receipt & Inspection: Oversee the inward movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and engineering spares; verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery challans.
Storage & Organizing: Ensure proper storage and layout of materials in the warehouse, strictly adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and 5S standards for maximum efficiency and cleanliness.
Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate, real-time stock records and conduct regular physical stock verification to minimize discrepancies.

Dispatch & Logistics Operations
Dispatch Planning: Coordinate daily outward dispatches of finished goods based on customer orders and production schedules.
Documentation: Prepare and manage crucial logistics documents including Delivery Challans (DC), Invoices, Packing Lists, and E-Way bills.
Transporter Coordination: Coordinate with logistics vendors, arrange vehicles, and ensure safe, timely loading and securing of materials for transit.

System & Compliance
ERP/Data Entry: Ensure timely and error-free data entry of all inward and outward transactions in MS Office (Excel) or the company's inventory software.
Safety & Guidelines: Adhere to plant safety protocols during material handling, loading, and unloading operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Graduate in any stream (B.Com, B.Sc, B.A) or Diploma.
Skills Required: * Prior knowledge or basic understanding of 5S principles and warehouse management.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) for maintaining stock sheets.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Good communication skills for coordinating with transporters and internal teams.
