Storage Qa Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Storage QA Engineer to work on enterprise-grade storage and infrastructure solutions in complex distributed environments. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance across storage, virtualization, and database layers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute system testing, regression testing, and end-to-end validation.
• Perform testing across distributed and multi-node environments.
• Validate storage solutions including SAN, NAS, and HCI.
• Develop automation scripts using Python.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Validate upgrade, patching, and release cycles.
• Test high availability, backup/restore, and disaster recovery scenarios.
• Analyze logs and system metrics to identify and resolve issues.
• Work with databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB) and virtualization platforms (VMware, AHV).

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in system and regression testing.
• Good understanding of distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools.
• Strong Linux debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of storage systems and virtualization technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in QA/System Testing.
• Experience in enterprise/storage/infrastructure product testing is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
