About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable storage solutions using various technologies such as Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical roadmaps for data storage infrastructure projects.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to storage systems, including performance tuning, data corruption, and system failures.
- Develop automation scripts using Python programming language to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
Job Requirements :
- 5-13 years of experience in a similar role as a Platform Engineer or Storage Engineer in IT Services & Consulting industry.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating system administration and scripting languages like Python.
- Experience working with cloud-based storage platforms such as AWS S3 or GCP Storage Bucket.
