Key Responsibilities

1. Audit Delivery & Quality Assurance

• Engagement Leadership: Direct and oversee multiple large-scale and complex statutory audit engagements from planning to finalization.
• Technical Oversight: Review financial statements, audit working papers, and disclosures to ensure strict compliance with Ind AS / IFRS and prevailing company legislation (e.g., Companies Act).
• Risk Management: Perform sophisticated risk assessments, identify critical accounting issues (e.g., revenue recognition, complex valuations), and design targeted audit strategies.
• Opinion Advisory: Identify key issues impacting the audit opinion and formulate robust recommendations for Partners and client boards.

2. Client Relationship & Portfolio Management

• Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted business advisor to clients, addressing complex accounting queries and guiding them through shifting regulatory landscapes.
• Client Retention: Manage day-to-day interactions for a high-profile client portfolio, maintaining an elite standard of service delivery.

3. Team Leadership & Talent Development

• People Management: Supervise, mentor, and foster the professional growth of Managers, Assistant Managers, and Senior Associates.
• Resource Optimization: Strategically allocate manpower, schedule tasks, and track performance indicators like project profitability and write-offs.

4. Business Development & Practice Growth

• Proposal Delivery: Identify market opportunities, lead or support bids, and craft impactful presentations to secure prospective client accounts.
