Statutory Accountant

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) based in Bangalore, India with mandatory Big Four (PwC, Deloitte, EY or KPMG) experience (minimum 5 years post qualified) to join our Statutory Accounting team as a Statutory Accountant. The role will be responsible for supporting the preparation and delivery of IFRS group reporting and UK statutory financial statements for multiple UK subsidiaries within a complex multinational group structure.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of annual IFRS Group Accounts.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and Fwhere applicable.
• Ensure compliance with UK Companies Act reporting requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors.
• Coordinate year end and interim audits.
• Support the preparation of technical accounting papers.
• Work closely with UK finance, tax, treasury and legal teams, providing technical accounting support and driving continuous improvement in reporting processes.

Requirements

• Strong IFRS and Ftechnical knowledge.
• Experience preparing statutory financial statements.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced multinational environment.
• Experience with UK statutory reporting, external audit, group reporting.
• ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Exposure to Caseware Accounts Production software would be highly advantageous.
