State Product Manager- Tractor Loans

Role & responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Achieve state-level tractor sales and business targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share.
• Identify growth opportunities across districts and rural markets.
• Drive customer acquisition through dealers, channel partners, and field teams.
• Monitor competitor activities and recommend appropriate actions.

Dealer & Channel Management

• Build strong relationships with tractor dealers and distributors.
• Appoint, develop, and manage dealer networks across the state.
• Ensure dealer productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular dealer reviews and business planning sessions.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and mentor Area Managers, Territory Managers, and Sales Executives.
• Set performance goals and track team productivity.
• Conduct regular training and capability-building programs.
• Ensure effective manpower planning and deployment.

Portfolio & Risk Management (For Finance Organizations)

• Monitor portfolio quality and delinquency levels.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting and credit policies.
• Drive collection effectiveness and control NPAs.
• Coordinate with credit, operations, and collections teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10-15+ years of experience in Tractor Sales, Farm Equipment, Rural Finance, Vehicle Finance, or Agri Business.

• Minimum 3-5 years in a leadership role managing multiple districts or a state.

• Strong understanding of rural markets and dealer management.
