State Head - Collections - Unsecured Business Loan

Role & responsibilities

Drive aggressive state-level strategies to control early bucket delinquencies (Bucket 0 to 3) and prevent accounts from slipping into Non-Performing Assets (NPAs).

Analyse high-risk accounts and bucket-wise delinquencies to deploy targeted collection tactics

Supervise, mentor, and track the performance of Collections Managers, and field executives

Address and resolve critical customer escalations and grievances regarding loan defaults

Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring quick resolution of customer issues within specified TAT Build relationships with key clients to ensure timely collections are made and monitor defaulting customers by ensuring regular follow with critical/complex customers to identify reasons for defaulting

Ensure that there is adequate Feet on Street availability area-wise/bucket-wise/ segment-wise and obtain daily updates from all collection executives on delinquent portfolio & initiate detailed account level review of high ticket accounts

Ensure compliance to all Audit / Regulatory bodies as well as policies and procedures of the company

Prepare and present weekly and monthly state performance reports, recovery forecasts, and cost-benefit analyses to national leadership

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field

8 to 12 years of experience in banking, financial services, or NBFC sectors, with at least 3 to 5 years specifically managing state-level or multi-regional collections for Business Loans, SME, or MSME portfolios
