About this role
Responsibilities
- To ensure 5S & safety in the respective area.
- To ensure 100% quality of inspection, measuring and test equipment's through their calibration as per calibration plan made for each department.
- To perform measurement system analysis studies (R&R study) to find out instrumental as well as appraiser variation and accordingly actions to be taken in shop floor (if required).
- To implement & maintain the documentation (Calibration History Sheet, MSA reports, etc.) as per requirements of IATF 16949:2016.
- To ensure that process-related Work Instructions are properly displayed and adhered.
- To give at least one suggestion in a month to optimize the use of consumables, raw material, etc. by doing VE (Value Engineering).
- To declare instruments, gauges as scrap, if found unusable or unrepairable.
