Qualifications

Education Experience:

7.5+ yearsof relevant software engineering experience

Bachelor''s or Master''s degreein Computer Science, Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, or related field

Core Technical Skills

Java Distributed Systems Expertise:

Extensive technical experience withJAVA, Spring, Hibernate

Advanced Java developmentincluding concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization

Deep understanding ofdistributed system architectures(microservices, event-driven, service mesh)

Experience withdistributed consensus algorithms(Raft, Paxos) and coordination services (Zookeeper, etcd)

Proficiency indistributed data managementpatterns (CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga patterns)

Strong knowledge ofdistributed caching(Redis, Hazelcast, Memcached)

Experience withmessage queues and streaming platforms(Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar)

Understanding ofCAP theorem, eventual consistency, and distributed transaction management

Experience buildinghighly available, fault-tolerant systemswith disaster recovery capabilities

Knowledge ofservice discovery, load balancing, and circuit breaker patterns

Proficiency in code development usingEclipse/MyEclipse, JetBrains IntelliJor any major Java IDE

Strong experience withGIT/Stash, Maven, and Jenkins

API Integration:

Extensive experience inAPI Developmentusing SOAP or REST, JSON and XML

Deep knowledge of API standards includingOAuth, SAML

Experience withGraphQL, gRPC, and modern API gateway patterns

Understanding ofAPI versioning, rate limiting, and distributed API management

Experience buildingasync/reactive APIsusing Spring WebFlux or similar frameworks

Data Infrastructure:

Experience withSQL datastores(Postgress/MySQL) andUnix/Linux platforms

Understanding ofdatabase sharding, replication, and distributed database systems

Knowledge ofdata consistency patternsacross distributed datastores

Working knowledge ofstreaming platforms like Kafkafor real-time data processing

AI-First Engineering Skills:

Experience integratingAI/ML modelsinto distributed production systems (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)

Hands-on experience withLLM integrationand serving at scale (OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Llama, etc.)

Proficiency inAI-assisted developmenttools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Cline, or similar)

Distributed Systems Design:

Experience designingscalable microservices architectureshandling millions of transactions

Knowledge ofdistributed system monitoringand observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Understanding ofcontainer orchestrationin distributed environments
