Staff Nurse

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT and MRI procedures.
• Perform IV cannulation and maintain IV access as required.
• Assist with contrast-enhanced CT/MRI procedures as per radiologist's instructions and centre protocols.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after contrast administration.
• Identify and immediately report any contrast reaction or deterioration in patient condition.
• Check and record vital signs when required.
• Perform appropriate MRI safety screening and identify potential contraindications/metallic implants as per protocol.
• Explain procedures and provide reassurance to patients.
• Assist the radiologist and radiology technologist during patient procedures and emergencies.
• Maintain proper patient records and nursing documentation.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and emergency protocols.
• Ensure proper care of patients before and after the procedure.

Preferred candidate profile

4-5 years of experience as a Staff Nurse, preferably in a diagnostic centre, radiology department, CT/MRI centre, or hospital radiology unit. Freshers with relevant training may also be considered if you are open to them.
