Staff Nurse - Ward

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the ward as per hospital protocols.

Monitor vital signs, patient conditions, and report any changes to the senior nurse or doctor.

Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and other treatments as prescribed.

Assist doctors and other healthcare staff during ward rounds, procedures, and emergencies.

Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and nursing notes.

Ensure hygiene, infection control, and cleanliness in the ward.

Educate patients and attendants on treatment, medication, and post-discharge care.

Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges efficiently.

Handle medical equipment and supplies in the ward responsibly.

Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement programs.

Diploma / B.Sc . in Nursing.

Registered with State Nursing Council (RNC).

0-3 years of experience in hospital ward nursing (fresher s may be considered).

Knowledge of ward procedures, patient care, and infection control practices.

Clinical knowledge and nursing skills relevant to ward care.

Observation and patient monitoring abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Teamwork, empathy, and patient-centric attitude.

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.

Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
