Staff Nurse - OT

Prepare the OT, surgical instruments, and equipment before procedures.

Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical operations.

Monitor patient vital signs and condition throughout the procedure.

Maintain strict aseptic and infection control protocols in the OT.

Handle and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.

Assist in patient positioning, anaesthesia setup, and transfer to recovery.

Document surgical procedures, instruments used, and post-operative notes accurately.

Ensure cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of OT equipment and instruments.

Participate in OT audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Respond promptly to emergencies and support critical interventions.

Diploma / B.Sc . in Nursing.

Registered with State Nursing Council (RNC).

0-3 years of experience in OT nursing (fresher s with OT training may be considered).

Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterilization, and infection control.

Strong clinical and surgical nursing skills.

Knowledge of aseptic techniques and OT protocols.

Effective communication and teamwork with surgeons, anaesthetists, and OT staff.

Attention to detail and accurate documentation.

Ability to work under pressure during surgical procedures.
