Staff Nurse - Labour Room & NICU

Role & responsibilities

• Provide safe, individualized nursing care to obstetric, gynaecological, and neonatal patients.
• Monitor mothers during labour, assess labour progression, and assist consultants during delivery.
• Provide immediate care to newborns and specialized nursing care to sick and premature infants.
• Monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications, and maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Assist with neonatal respiratory support, including oxygen therapy, CPAP and ventilator care, as required.
• Coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, medication management, and hospital protocols.
• Educate and support patients families and caregivers.

Skills Required

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Labour Room or NICU nursing experience
• Emergency response and critical care support
• Communication and teamwork
• Knowledge of infection control and nursing documentation
