About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the operation theatre, instruments, and surgical equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Provide nursing care to patients with neurological disorders and neurosurgical conditions.
- Monitor neurological status, including GCS, pupil response, and vital signs.
- Assist in the management of patients with stroke, seizures, head injuries, and spinal disorders
- Provide nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions and cardiovascular complications.
- Monitor ECG, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and other vital signs.
- Assist in the management of patients with heart attacks, arrhythmias, and heart failure.
- Administer prescribed cardiac medications and monitor their effects.
Preferred candidate profile
- Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing.
- Registration: Valid State Nursing Council registration.
- Experience: Relevant experience in OT, Neuro, or Cardiac care preferred.
- Skills: Clinical assessment, patient monitoring, emergency management, infection control, and teamwork.
