Staff Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Proactive self-starter capable of independently solving problems.
• Write clean and maintainable code using Python, Django, PostgreSQL / any relevant backend stack.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the backend system.
• Optimise the performance of the backend services (GCP, DBT).
• Eagerness to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Natural curiosity and a drive to find creative solutions to complex problems.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of relevant professional full-time experience building backend systems for Senior roles.
• Some exposure to front-end (React, basic familiarity with a JS library + willingness to learn).
