Staff Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Staff Accountant will support the Assistant Controller by ensuring the integrity and validity of financial data entered: Including JEs, Invoices, Payments. The Staff Accountant will have opportunities to develop skills in many different areas, including financial reporting, M&A integration, cash and expense management, and international operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Statement Monthly/Quarterly Closing

Prepare assigned account reconciliations and related analysis on a monthly/quarterly basis to identify potential discrepancies in account balances

Participate in quarterly review procedures and annual audit, providing information and answers to auditor requests and inquiries

Review and approve refund requests through Jira

Monitor compliance with GAAP and company procedures and proactively communicate identified accounting/financial and control issues to Management

Provide financial support to all users as required

Review and approve weekly pricing into oracle and the reconciliation between Oracle and Power BI

Other projects as required    

Prepare month end journal entries and related support

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit

Thoroughness and attention to details

Strong analytical skills Preferred

Experience with Oracle

General ledger and month-end close experience

Experience working in a global company

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations. Remote USA $69,200 — $86,450 USD
