Staff Accountant - Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on tax compliance matters.
• Facilitate and manage compliance engagements, including gathering information, setting timelines, and overseeing delivery.
• Complete compliance workups and conduct reviews of final deliverables for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.
• Prepare or review payroll reports, sales tax filings, and business records as needed for clients.
• Project manage multiple compliance engagements concurrently, coordinate team members, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate with clients proactively to provide updates, request additional documentation, and offer tax planning advice.
• Build and maintain client relationships, demonstrating knowledge of each client's unique business or personal tax situation.
• Mentor and train production staff, holding team members accountable for quality and timeliness of their work.
• Support Managers and Partners in high-level functions, team oversight, and implementing departmental initiatives as part of your professional growth path.
• Contribute to firm initiatives that promote innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
