About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Accountant with strong hands-on experience in US Accounting, preferably supporting dental practices, healthcare organizations or multi-location medical practices. The ideal candidate should have experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for US dental practices.
• Maintain General Ledger and accounting records.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage AP and support AR activities.
• Reconcile patient payments and insurance receivables where applicable.
• Record and reconcile practice revenue and collections.
• Prepare and review P&L and Balance Sheet reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close.
• Investigate account discrepancies.
• Support payroll-related accounting and expense analysis.
• Coordinate with practice managers and internal stakeholders.
• Support audit requirements.
• Ensure accurate US accounting records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.

Key Software

QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Dental Practice Management Systems.

Accounting & Compliance Knowledge

US GAAP, Dental Practice Accounting, Healthcare Accounting, General Ledger, AP, AR, Patient Revenue, Insurance Receivables, Bank Reconciliation, Credit Card Reconciliation, Month-End Close, P&L, Balance Sheet and Financial Reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related field.
• CA/CPA/CMA/ACCA preferred.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong US Accounting and US GAAP knowledge.
• Dental/Healthcare Accounting experience preferred.
• Strong reconciliation and month-end close experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Must be comfortable working from office in Sector 90, Noida.
