SSIS Developer

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled SSIS Developer to design develop maintain and optimize ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services SSIS
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data integration data migration SQL Server databases and data warehousing concepts
• The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders data analysts and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain ETL packages using SSIS
• Extract transform and load data from multiple data sources such as SQL Server Oracle flat files APIs and cloud platforms
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures views and functions
• Perform data validation cleansing and transformation activities
• Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Monitor and maintain data integration workflows and schedules
• Collaborate with business users and data teams to understand data requirements
• Implement error handling logging and auditing mechanisms within SSIS packages
• Support data warehouse development and reporting initiatives
• Conduct unit testing integration testing and deployment activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and workflows
• Ensure adherence to data governance security and compliance standards

Technical Requirements:

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services SSIS
• Proficiency in T SQL stored procedures triggers views and functions
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio SSMS
• Knowledge of ETL ELT methodologies and data integration best practices
• Experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and automation
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts such as star schema and dimensional modeling
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git Azure DevOps or TFS
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Additional Responsibilities:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field
• 5 7 years of experience in SSIS development and SQL Server environments
• Relevant Microsoft certifications are an added advantage
