SSE (Backend)

Responsibilities:

• Partner with product owners, project managers, and Scrum masters to define, refine, and own technical requirements end-to-end.
• Lead hands-on development in the back-end, setting the technical direction for your squad.
• Drive code reviews, establish best practices, and mentor junior engineers within the team.
• Own the full software lifecycle from design and development through deployment, testing, and production stability.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to champion CI/CD pipelines, release quality, and environment parity across dev to production.
• Deepen and apply modern security principles across application design and implementation.

Requirements:

• You'll be deeply committed to delivering impactful outcomes for customers.
• 5+ years of proven experience building production-grade, resilient, and scalable systems.
• 5+ years of experience building RESTful web services using NodeJS, with strong architectural instincts.
• 5+ years of experience writing batch/cron jobs using Python and shell scripting.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, JSON, and REST-based application design.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS and NoSQL technologies, including MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and similar databases.
• Solid command of Git and branching strategies in collaborative team environments.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on GCP or AWS, with working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions, conduct thorough code reviews, and drive engineering quality across the team.
• Comfortable operating within Agile/Scrum frameworks, actively contributing to sprint ceremonies, grooming sessions, and cross-functional planning.
