JD Summary
This role is for an IT Production Support Engineer responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical production systems. The position focuses on production support, monitoring & observability, incident management, and automation engineering, with a strong emphasis on using Ansible and scripting to eliminate manual tasks, improve operational efficiency, and build self healing solutions. The engineer will participate in 24x7 support rotations, manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross functional teams to continuously improve production operations.

Mandatory Requirements (Must Have Skills)
Production Support & Operations

. 5 7 years of experience in: Production Support Application Support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) IT Operations
. Experience working in 24x7 support environments
. Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management experience

Monitoring & Observability

. Hands on experience with Dynatrace
. Strong experience with Splunk
. Experience with PagerDuty

Automation & Scripting

. Experience managing Ansible Automation Platform / Ansible Tower
. Scripting proficiency in: Python Shell/Bash PowerShell
. Experience building operational automation and self healing solutions

Infrastructure & Platform Skills

. Strong Linux/Unix administration
. Working knowledge of Windows Server
. SQL querying for troubleshooting and analysis Git ServiceNow Jira
