Sr Warden / Warden (Boys Hostel)

Role & responsibilities

1. Provide support and guidance to students residing in the hostel.

2. Issuance of Gate / Out pass to the students.

3. Enforce hostel rules and regulations to maintain discipline.

4. Manage administrative tasks related to the hostel.

5. Mediate and resolve conflicts among students.

6. Ensure the safety of students during emergencies.

7. Offer counseling and guidance to students when needed.

8. Foster a positive and inclusive community within the hostel.

9. Maintain regular communication with university administration, staff & parents.

10. Conduct regular room inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hostel policies.

11. Coordinate with maintenance staff for timely repairs and maintenance of hostel facilities.

12. Monitor and address noise levels and disturbances within the hostel premises.

13. Provide guidance on personal hygiene, health, and wellness practices.

14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information with utmost professionalism.

15. Serve as a role model and mentor to students, promoting positive behavior and responsible living.

16. Ability to work in a team.

17. Very good communication skills, with fluency in both English and Hindi.

18. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
