About this role
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end ECM transaction lifecycle from mandate to listing for main board IPOs and secondary fund raising
- Drive drafting strategy for offer documents, emphasising disclosure integrity and complex regulatory structuring
- Spearhead SEBI and exchange liaison; handle regulatory queries and escalations
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders - legal counsel, auditors, registrars, bankers and the issuer - to defined timelines
- Ensure all transaction activities complete within defined timelines
Role requirements: strong SEBI process and documentation knowledge across main board, QIP, preferential allotment and open offer; open to travel to client locations; prior leadership experience in merchant banking preferred; high ownership, detail orientation, team handling and execution discipline; high maturity handling regulatory escalations.
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on ECM execution experience.
