Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer who have experience in Capital Market / Investment Banking Domain and is passionate about quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensure high-quality releases, drive UAT, and contribute to strengthening QA practices within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Developers, Testers, and Business Owners to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
- Understand detailed system functionality and testability for assigned modules/products.
- Continuously analyse and improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Review test scenarios, support functional delivery, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure production releases meet business and client expectations around usability and functionality.
- Implement the QA vision and quality strategy within the team.
- Participate actively in grooming, planning, and retrospective meetings to enforce QA best practices.
- Plan and execute quality assurance activities to ensure timely milestone delivery.
- Maintain, update, and hand over regression test suites to the RTE team.
- Continuously learn the product, platform, and domain.
- Work with business teams to understand and validate requirements, user stories, and processes.
- Track issues, manage cross-team tasks, and ensure high-quality delivery of all features.
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and accurate reporting of test status.
- Diagnose and support quick resolution of live production incidents.
Your Profile
- Strong experience of Capital Market/Investment Banking Domain testing.
- Hands on experience in SQL Queries.
- Good knowledge of Trade Life Cycle.
- Strong experience in functional, regression testing and UAT.
- Experience range required as a functional tester 10 to 12 Yrs
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into test scenarios.
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to diagnose production issues quickly.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of TFS.
