Sr Test Lead

• Responsible for building robust, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Participate in the design and architectural design discussions as well as provide effective feedback in code reviews.
• Coordinate with product management and other teams to deliver a stable product.
• Enhance test frameworks and develop automated tests using Java based test frameworks like Cucumber
• Raise/Investigate defects
• Record test results and report/verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
• Contribute to Unit testing along with developers.
• Estimate test activities accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities. Qualifications for consideration:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with 9+ years of experience as SDET.
  • Be familiar with API testing clients like POSTMAN or JMeter
  • Knowledge of versioning tools like Git .
  • Good understanding of Test data management
  • Basic understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery concepts (CI / CD)
  • Knowledge of cloud technology platforms like - PCF, Amazon AWS , Google GCP , or Microsoft Azure is a plus
  • Be familiar with Springboot and its implementation in test automation frameworks
  • Exercise Debugging and investigative methods to resolve complex issues in a framework
  • Utilize SQL in order to create, validate, and maintain data in an Oracle Database
  • Highly familiar with coding concepts such as encapsulation and polymorphism
  • Experience with testing using REST API or Automation frameworks such as Rest Assured
  • Experience using TestNG, or some other equivalent
