Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Lead to manage and drive the Quality Assurance (QA) process within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in functional testing and will work closely with both the Technical and Functional teams to ensure the highest quality of our products. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively collaborate across departments to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team in the development and execution of test strategies, plans, and cases.
- Manage the end-to-end QA process, ensuring that all functional testing is completed on time and meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with Technical and Functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in project planning and status meetings, providing updates on QA progress and challenges.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable to enhance testing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with QA methodologies and best practices.
- Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in functional testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10-13 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on functional testing.
- Relevant certifications in QA or testing methodologies are a plus.
