Sr Test Engineer

Job Summary

Overall 2 to 4 years of experience in Manual Testing with strong exposure to the Indian Health Insurance domain.

Requirements

• Good communication skills and confidence, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, Business Analysts, development teams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong hands-on experience in Health Insurance processes, including Policy Issuance, End-to-End Business Flows, Underwriting (UW) Rules, and Endorsements.
• Good functional knowledge of Core Insurance Applications, Agent Portals, and Customer Websites.
• Capable of understanding Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and User Stories, and translating them into effective test cases.
• Experienced in preparing Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM), test scenarios, and detailed test cases.
• Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Proficient in defect management and tracking using tools such as JIRA, with a good understanding of defect lifecycle management.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quality-focused testing approach.
