Sr Test Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer Test Data Specialist with strong expertise in Power BI Development, Data Analysis, and a good understanding of Azure DevOps (ADO). The candidate will be responsible for developing interactive dashboards, managing and analyzing test data requirements, and supporting QA/testing teams with data preparation, validation, and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create data models, DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
• Develop and optimize Power Query transformations.
• Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and other databases.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and report performance optimization.
• Generate analytical reports and executive-level dashboards for stakeholders.
• Analyze test data requirements for various testing activities.
• Create, prepare, and maintain test datasets for QA environments.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across source and target systems.
• Support SIT, UAT, Regression, and Production Validation testing activities.
• Coordinate with QA, Business, and Development teams for test data provisioning.
• Ensure compliance with data masking and data privacy requirements.

Azure DevOps (ADO)

• Good understanding of Azure DevOps (ADO) processes and workflows.
• Create and manage work items, user stories, bugs, and tasks.
• Track development and testing activities through ADO boards.
• Generate reports and dashboards using ADO data.
• Collaborate with project teams for sprint planning and progress tracking.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Power BI Development.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.
• Experience with SQL queries and database concepts.
• Good understanding of Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA processes.
• Experience in Test Data Management and Data Validation.
