Job Summary

TechOps_SAP_WM/EWM Senior Consultant - The SAP WM/EWM Senior Consultant is responsible for supporting, enhancing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. The role involves providing functional expertise across warehouse operations, supply chain execution, inventory management, logistics processes, integrations, testing, and production support activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Warehouse Process Design & Configuration

• Configure warehouse organizational structures and storage layouts.
• Support warehouse process configuration including:
  • Inbound Processing
  • Outbound Processing
  • Inventory Management
  • Replenishment
  • Physical Inventory
  • Posting Changes
  • Wave Management
  • Quality Inspection Processes
• Configure handling units and packaging specifications.

SAP EWM Implementation & Enhancements

• Participate in business requirement gathering and process workshops.
• Prepare business blueprints and functional design documents.
• Configure SAP EWM solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Support deployments, rollouts, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
• Participate in cutover and go-live activities.

Integration Management

• Support integration between SAP EWM and SAP ERP/S4HANA systems.
• Work closely with:
  • SAP MM
  • SAP SD
  • SAP WM
  • SAP PP
  • Logistics Execution
• Support interface development and troubleshooting involving:
  • IDocs
  • RFC
  • ALE
  • Web Services
• Ensure smooth warehouse transaction processing across integrated systems.

Mobility & Automation Enablement

• Support mobile warehouse solutions using:
  • SAP RF Framework
  • ITS Mobile
  • SAP Console
  • RFID Technologies
• Support warehouse automation integrations.
• Participate in testing and deployment of automated warehouse solutions.

Advanced EWM Capabilities

• Configure and support:
  • Labor Management
  • Yard Management
  • Cross Docking
  • Post Processing Framework (PPF)
  • Value Added Services (VAS)
  • Exception Handling
• Support warehouse optimization initiatives and process improvements.

Testing & Release Management

• Prepare functional specifications and test scenarios.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
• Perform impact assessments for releases and enhancements.
• Support release deployment and post-production stabilization activities.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Maintain functional and technical documentation.
