Sr Technical Architect - I_Cloud Architecture

Job Summary

As an Senior Technical Architect - Cloud Architecture, you will drive the design, automation, governance, and operational excellence of enterprise-scale Cloud data platforms. You will leverage Azure, Databricks, DevOps, and AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate delivery and improve platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure landing zones, subscriptions, resource groups, networking, and governance frameworks.
• Build secure, scalable, and resilient Cloud infrastructure using Azure-native services and enterprise security standards.
• Deploy, administer, and optimize Azure Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, and policies.
• Implement Unity Catalog, data governance controls, access management, and compliance standards.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and ARM templates.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for platform automation.
• Integrate Databricks with ADLS Gen2 and enterprise data services.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and GenAI tools for automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Implement observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Databricks monitoring.
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Enable GitOps, automated deployments, and self-healing platform capabilities.
• Optimize Azure and Databricks cost, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to Cloud engineering standards and best practices.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and production support operations.
