About the Role

The Senior BIM Modeller – Electrical will be responsible for developing and maintaining electrical BIM models and drawings in line with project requirements. The role involves electrical modeling, coordination with other disciplines, model quality checks, and supporting the timely delivery of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical BIM Modeling

• Develop and maintain electrical BIM models using Revit MEP.
• Prepare electrical layouts and drawings based on architectural and engineering inputs.
• Model electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and associated components, as required by project specifications.
• Update models and drawings based on design changes and project requirements.

BIM Coordination & Quality

• Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
• Identify and support the resolution of clashes and modeling discrepancies.
• Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain model consistency and follow established BIM standards and workflows.

Project Delivery & Collaboration

• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with project team members to resolve technical queries and modeling issues.
• Support the preparation and timely submission of electrical BIM deliverables.
• Incorporate review comments and maintain updated project models and drawings.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 4–5 years of experience in Electrical BIM Modeling.
• Working knowledge of Revit MEP and electrical modeling workflows.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Understanding of BIM coordination and model quality requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
• Familiarity with electrical BIM standards and documentation practices.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Exposure to international BIM projects and standards.
