Sr Specialist - Artificial Intelligence

Job Summary


Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex, production-grade AI/ML systems for airline software applications
• Architect scalable ML platforms and AI feature infrastructure on AWS, integrating with Accelyas microservices architecture
• Drive adoption of advanced AI techniques including foundation models, RAG, agentic AI and reinforcement learning for airline domain problems
• Lead ML experiment design, statistical evaluation and production deployment of high-impact AI capabilities
• Partner with senior product and engineering leaders on AI product strategy and roadmap
• Define AI engineering standards, review practices and MLOps governance across the team
• Publish internal research, thought leadership and contribute to Accelyas AI knowledge community

Requirements

• 5-7 years of AI/ML engineering experience with a track record of high-impact model delivery
• Expert ML skills across classical ML, deep learning, LLMs and generative AI
• Deep experience with ML platform engineering, MLOps and responsible AI
• Proven ability to lead ML engineering teams and drive technical strategy
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters or PhD preferred

Preferred Experience Skills

• Deep expertise in generative AI, foundation models and agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) applied to enterprise software products
• Knowledge of how FLYRs AI-native architecture, PROS AI and Amadeus ML capabilities are shaping AI in the airline technology sector
• Expert use of AWS AI services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend) within Accelyas AWS-partnered cloud environment
• Understanding of responsible AI governance in airline technology, including model explainability, fairness in pricing AI and regulatory implications for AI-driven airline decisions
