Job Title: Sr. Software Quality Engineer-Performance Testing

Location - Hyderabad Hybrid Model

Experience - 5-8 Years We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior SQE – Performance Testing to lead and own the end-to-end performance engineering lifecycle. The ideal candidate will contribute to defining the performance testing strategy, execute large-scale load tests, and deliver actionable insights through robust reporting and analytics. This role will be part of Software Quality CoE, it demands strong technical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Additionally, this role requires leveraging modern AI/LLM tools to enhance productivity in automation, performance scripting, test design, and result analysis

Key Responsibiliti es• Drive the overall performance testing strategy aligned with business and product goa ls• Own end-to-end performance testing lifecycle including planning, scripting, execution, monitoring, and reporti ng• Design and implement scalable load, stress, endurance, and spike test scenari os• Develop and maintain performance test frameworks and reusable asse ts• Execute tests to validate system scalability, reliability, and stability under lo ad• Analyze performance bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure laye rs• Deliver detailed performance reports, dashboards, and analytics with actionable recommendatio ns• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and architecture teams to resolve performance issu es• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous performance validati on• Drive performance optimization initiatives and ensure SLAs/SLOs are m

et Required Skills & Qualificati ons• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Performance Engineer ing• Strong expertise in any of the performance testing tools (code as a test) such as Gatling, K6, Locust or simi larSolid understanding of performance testing methodologies, workload modeling, and capacity plann ing• Hands-on experience with monitoring & observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, New Relic or simil ar)• Strong exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, et c.)• Experience in analyzing system metrics (CPU, memory, I/O, network, database performan ce)• Proficiency in any scripting/programming (Java, Python, JavaScript, et c.)• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present performance insights to stakehold ers• Ability to take ownership and make data-driven decisions in high-pressure scenar ios• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized systems (Docker, Kubernet es)
