Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable Python-based applications and microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Build cloud-native solutions leveraging GCP services including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and PubSub.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop data processing pipelines using Python and GCP services such as Dataflow and BigQuery.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Cloud Build.
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (GKE).
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis for application defects.
• Ensure application security, compliance, and monitoring using GCP-native tools.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
• Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and cloud services into existing applications.
• Strong understanding of SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based data architectures.
