Sr Software Engineer Fluent

Job Summary

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Fluent Commerce Order Management System (OMS) to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale OMS solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Fluent Commerce OMS solutions.
• Configure and customize Fluent Commerce workflows.
• Develop scalable API-driven and event-based integrations.
• Build integrations with ERP, WMS, payment gateways, CRM, loyalty, and eCommerce platforms.
• Develop REST APIs, JSON integrations, webhooks, and asynchronous messaging.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, production support, and root cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers when required.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of software development experience.
• 2-3+ years of Fluent Commerce OMS experience.
• Strong understanding of OMS and DOM.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and asynchronous integrations.
• Experience integrating ERP, WMS, payment gateways, and eCommerce platforms.
• Strong debugging and Agile experience.

Preferred Skills

• Omnichannel retail experience.
• Cloud-native or microservices exposure.
• Event-driven architecture.
• CI/CD and DevOps familiarity.
• Production support experience.
