Job Summary

• Participation in the design, development, and optimization of database solutions for telecom products
• Leading efforts at different stages of database development life cycle
• Fast learning & implementation of advanced database (MySQL, Oracle, Mongo, etc.) technologies for high-performance solutions
• Primary contributor to database architecture, query development, stored procedures and integration
• Participation in all aspects of database development, including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and data modelling
• Strong analytical mindset, capable of diagnosing performance issues, optimizing data flows, and improving system efficiency.
• Responsible for Relational database setup, maintenance, replication, and high availability solutions

Database & Software Skills

• Expert in MySQL or other DB tech. with in-depth knowledge of SQL and database internals
• Understanding of user access control, encryption, data privacy, and compliance best practices.
• Strong understanding of ACID properties, database normalization, and data integrity constraints
• Proficient in writing queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and complex joins
• Hands-on experience in managing databases through the command line
• Strong knowledge of database indexing, keys (primary, foreign, composite, unique), and performance tuning
• Skilled in query tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and database profiling for large-scale data systems.
• Skilled in writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and analytical functions across major RDBMS platforms
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments for database administration
• Exposure to cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for database versioning and automation is a plus

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure database schemas to support Telecom-grade applications.
• Develop and maintain optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and database functions for high-performance data access.
• Ensure database reliability, availability, and performance under high transaction loads
• Implement and manage DB replication, backup, scaling, and disaster recovery solutions
• Work on query optimization and indexing strategies to improve database performance
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and resolve bottlenecks
• Work closely with software development teams to integrate database solutions with applications
• Maintain data integrity and enforce database security best practices

Education BE / B.Tech preferred in CS/IT with 1st class OR MCA/M.Sc-IT with 1st class can also apply
