Job Summary

Team Lead will architect develop and optimize cloud native microservices using Java Spring Boot on AWS ensuring secure scalable and resilient solutions for enterprise asset and wealth management clients while collaborating in a hybrid work model to deliver high quality features data integrations and performance improvements that support critical business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust microservices using Java and Spring Boot that deliver secure scalable and maintainable business capabilities for asset and wealth management applications
• Develop efficient SQL data models and queries that enable reliable transaction processing and analytics while ensuring data integrity and optimal performance for large client portfolios
• Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to translate complex asset and wealth management requirements into clear technical designs that align with organizational goals and customer outcomes
• Optimize application performance across services databases and AWS infrastructure by profiling bottlenecks tuning queries and refining service interactions to meet aggressive response time and throughput targets
• Implement resilient integration patterns between microservices and external systems ensuring fault tolerance data consistency and clear error handling for critical financial operations
• Ensure high standards of code quality through peer reviews unit testing integration testing and adherence to clean coding practices so that systems remain stable and easy to evolve
• Apply AWS services such as compute storage security and monitoring to design reliable cloud architectures that support hybrid work delivery while meeting availability and compliance expectations
• Collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model using structured communication and shared tooling to ensure alignment on solution design delivery timelines and operational readiness
• Drive automation of build test and deployment pipelines to support frequent reliable releases and reduce manual effort improving overall engineering productivity and time to market
• Contribute to technical documentation including service contracts architectural diagrams and operational runbooks to support transparent knowledge sharing and smooth production operations
• Participate in incident analysis and root cause remediation by reviewing logs tracing service calls and implementing durable fixes that prevent recurrence and enhance customer trust
• Support continuous improvement of engineering practices by evaluating emerging tools patterns and frameworks that strengthen microservices reliability security and developer experience
• Align daily development activities with the company mission to deliver trustworthy digital solutions that help clients manage assets and wealth responsibly while contributing to broader societal financial stability

Qualifications

• Bring eight to ten years of hands on software engineering experience with a strong focus on Java based enterprise applications and modern service oriented architectures
• Demonstrate deep proficiency in building and maintaining Spring Boot microservices including configuration management security integration testing and performance tuning
• Show strong experience with AWS cloud platforms by designing deploying and operating applications that use core services for compute storage networking observability and security
• Exhibit solid SQL expertise across schema design query optimization indexing and transaction management to support high volume and high reliability financial data operations
• Apply practical knowledge of designing secure reliable and scalable microservices that interact with diverse systems while following industry standards for reliability and resilience
• Display familiarity with asset and wealth management domains by understanding concepts such as portfolios accounts transactions risk and reporting to translate business rules into technical solutions
• Use hybrid work practices effectively by coordinating with onsite and remote team members managing time independently and maintaining clear documentation to support distributed collaboration
