As a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE III), you will build and scale backend systems powering critical trading and platform infrastructure at WazirX. This role focuses on performance, scalability, reliability, and solving complex engineering problems in a high-volume financial environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems and services
- Optimize platform performance, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-grade code
- Drive engineering best practices and technical improvements
- Work on high-impact systems handling real-time transactions
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Golang and backend system design
- Experience with scalable and high-throughput systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Fintech or trading platform experience is mandatory
- Ability to operate in fast-paced and high-ownership environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS
- Docker
- distributed systems
