Sr. Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with company and customer safety standards. Promote Zero Harm culture and safe work practices. Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Ensure proper use of PPE, LOTO procedures, and risk assessments.
• Maintenance Operations: Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities. Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability. Minimize machine downtime by improving MTTR and increasing MTBF. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and implement corrective actions. Ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide to technicians. Allocate manpower effectively across shifts. Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings. Train and mentor team members to improve technical competency.
• Documentation Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance records. Ensure timely closure of work orders in the maintenance management system. Prepare technical reports, RCA reports, and improvement plans. Support audits and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Technical Skills: Preventive Predictive Maintenance; Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems; Diesel Engines; Electrical Electronic Systems; Rig Control Systems (preferred); Condition Monitoring; Root Cause Analysis (RCA); MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Leadership Competencies: Team leadership and coaching; Problem-solving and analytical thinking; Customer relationship management; Decision-making under pressure; Planning and organizational skills; Effective communication; Conflict resolution.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Equipment Availability Target; PM Compliance > 90%; Reduction in Breakdown Hours; MTBF Improvement; MTTR Reduction; Work Order Closure Compliance; Safety Performance (Zero LTI); Customer Satisfaction; Spare Inventory Accuracy; Maintenance Cost Control
