Sr. Scrum Master

We are seeking an energetic and experienced **Scrum Master*to lead and support our cross-functional **development PODs**. In this role, you will champion Agile principles, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and empower autonomous POD teams to deliver high-impact software products. Acting as a servant leader, you will clear impediments, optimize POD collaboration, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

### **Key Responsibilities**

**Manage and Facilitate POD Ceremonies:*Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives tailored to individual POD dynamics.

**Drive POD Autonomy Execution:*Empower cross-functional PODs (comprising engineering, QA, design, and product) to self-organize, hit sprint goals, and maintain high velocity.

**Manage Inter-POD Dependencies:*Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and teams to identify, track, and resolve cross-POD dependencies and integration challenges.

**Remove Impediments:*Proactively identify and eliminate blockers, resource constraints, and external distractions impacting the POD's progress.

**Coach and Mentor:*Guide POD members and stakeholders on Scrum theory, agile best practices, and healthy team behaviors.

**Collaborate with Product Owners:*Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure the POD backlog is healthy, refined, and aligned with quarterly roadmaps.

**Track POD Metrics:*Monitor and analyze velocity, throughput, and predictability metrics to help PODs continuously evaluate and improve their performance.

### **Required Qualifications Skills**

**Experience:*12 to 15 years of experience as a Scrum Master managing cross-functional technical PODs in a fast-paced environment.

**Certifications:*Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or equivalent.

**POD Agile Expertise:*Proven track record of working with self-organizing POD structures, scaling communication, and managing cross-team dependencies.

**Tools Proficiency:*Advanced proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Agile project management software.

**Communication:*Strong conflict-resolution, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with a servant-leadership mindset.

### **Preferred Qualifications**

Experience operating within scaled agile frameworks (like SAFe or LeSS) across multiple PODs.

Technical background with solid familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and modern engineering practices.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
