Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain material and special process specifications for nondestructive test methods and procedures.

Work with suppliers to interpret specifications/standards and optimize production methods/techniques.

Evaluate the use of automatic and AI systems for NDT

Review supplier and service provider NDT procedures and techniques to ensure compliance with codes, standards and specifications.

Service and RCA projects support - NDT process development for field inspection and validation. Interface with services teams and 3rd parties to develop field procedures and review results.

Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and standard work.

Identify technology development opportunities for growth and investment.

Required Qualifications

• For roles outside of the USA- Significant experience in NDT methods including UT, Eddy Current, MPI, phased array. Demonstrated proficiency in advanced techniques.
• For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college or at least 20 years of experience in these methods.
• Ability and willingness to travel 30% or more as needed domestic and global.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Welding experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and document programs / projects.
• Experience working with suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
