Role Overview

The Senior Sales Associate will be responsible for driving store sales, delivering an excellent customer experience, understanding customer eyewear requirements, and supporting smooth day-to-day store operations. The role involves guiding customers through frame, lens and eyewear options while achieving individual and store-level sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their eyewear requirements and preferences.
• Recommend suitable frames, lenses and accessories based on customer needs, prescription and budget.
• Explain product features, benefits, pricing, offers and available services clearly.
• Achieve daily, monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Drive key sales metrics such as conversion, average transaction value and product mix.
• Ensure high-quality customer service throughout the purchase journey.
• Assist customers with frame selection, fitting and basic product-related queries.
• Coordinate with optometrists and other store team members to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain proper visual merchandising and ensure the store is clean and well presented.
• Support inventory checks, stock movement and product availability.
• Ensure billing and order details are accurate.
• Follow company SOPs, customer-service standards and compliance requirements.
• Support new team members through product and sales-process guidance.
• Take responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, when required.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Lenskart products, brands, lens categories and current offers.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12th pass / Graduate.
• 1–4 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in eyewear, fashion, consumer retail or a similar customer-facing industry.
• Candidates with prior experience handling sales targets or mentoring junior associates are preferred.
