Proposed Role: Senior RD Engineer

Total Exp: 8 ~ 12 Yrs

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, modular, and optimized Test Automation Architectures tailored for embedded systems in industrial cooling and power distribution domains.
• Define automation standards, patterns, reusable test components, and framework guidelines.
• Lead end-to-end design of automated test suites
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across integration, system, regression, and environmental testing.
• Define and monitor quality KPIs including: Defect detection efficiency, Automation execution coverage, Protocol timing/throughput metrics, Framework reliability and maintainability
• Continuously optimize execution time, test reliability, and CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test suites.

Required Skills and Experience

Technical Skills

• 8-12 years of experience in Embedded Software Testing, including hands-on automation.
• Strong expertise in: Python (framework development), Robot Framework, Selenium for Web UI automation
• Deep understanding of: BSP, bootloaders, kernel-level behavior
• Low-level firmware/driver interactions
• Embedded protocols (Modbus, CAN, etc.)
• Experience with hardware tools debugging instruments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Leadership Skills
• Ability to drive technical strategy and automation engineering vision.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• ISTQB Certification (optional but beneficial).
• Working knowledge of C/C++ for firmware comprehension.
