Sr Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities / Tasks / Activities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily QC activities, including inspections, testing, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of products and materials to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct root cause analysis on quality incidents and implement preventative measures.
• Document and report quality findings and maintain accurate records.
• Train and educate operators on quality control processes and procedures.
• Conduct regular supplier audits to improve on time performance and quality of materials.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including work instructions and inspection reports.
• Perform thorough inspections, tests, and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and report any defects, non-conformities, or deviations from established specifications.
• Monitor and analyse product and process data to identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Participate in the development and implementation of corrective actions to address quality issues.
• Support the maintenance and calibration of quality inspection equipment.
• Create and maintain necessary documentation for ease in retrieval.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skill.
• Experience in conducting inspections, tests, and audits.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in the use of quality control tools and software.
• Knowledge of ISO and other relevant quality standards.
