About this role
Lead large-scale highway and infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Abhipsa Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of major highway and civil infrastructure projects across India. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, safety, and commercial departments to ensure seamless project delivery. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of construction project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery for highway and infrastructure projects valued at 100Cr+
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and site staff
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and government authorities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality benchmarks
- Conduct regular project reviews and prepare progress reports for senior management
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in highway/infrastructure project management
- Proven track record of delivering projects valued at 50Cr or above
- Strong knowledge of NHAI/MORTH specifications and standards
- Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience with EPC/BOT/HAM model projects
- Prior experience working with government infrastructure agencies
