The Opportunity
Youll be designing with more human behavior data than almost anywhere else on the planet.
At Nielsen, we measure how billions of people watch, listen, and buy across the globe. As a Senior Product Designer II, youll help build the design vision for major product lines and platforms, turning this huge, complex dataset into products that media professionals, advertisers, and agencies rely on for critical business decisions.
Youll work on problems where neither the question nor the answer is defined yet. What should cross-media measurement look like three years from now How do we bring a fragmented product suite into one coherent experience Which initiatives move the business, and which ones should we stop

Build the design vision for major product lines
Set the direction for entire products or platforms, not just features. Your work connects user needs to business outcomes and shapes design standards across Nielsen.

Solve the problems others struggle with
Lead core architectural changes, redesigns of critical flows, and high-priority initiatives where craft has to hold up under pressure. Work at the tactical and strategic level at the same time, across several projects.

Set research strategy for ambiguous problems
Decide which questions need answering and which methods fit, then guide the team through the work. Use behavioral data and research to shape product direction and fill gaps in what partners know.

7+ years of experience
Including significant time leading design for complex products. Experience with data-heavy or enterprise products is a strong plus. Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience (formal education not required).
